STEAM Day 2013

An identity system for an imagined STEAM Day 2013 event

STEAM (as opposed to the current STEM educational model) is an initiative that promotes the role of the Arts in education. It encourages students to be open-minded and embrace their creative sides.


This identity system is centered around the idea of the infinite possibilities having a STEAM education would afford, and was created in a collaborative effort with Melissa Mak.

Designs for our system include that of posters, event tickets, mailers, bookmarks, a map card, and a notepad.


PROCESS WORK

In developing our system, we used tools such as affinity diagrams and boston boxes to help us make sense of our ideas and research findings.
